No Other Baby"/"Brown Eyed Handsome Man", & "Fabulous" Paul McCartney 1999
Tras la muerte de su mujer Linda en 1998, Paul McCartney sintió una necesidad de volver a sus raíces, y un año más tarde el 5 de Octubre de 1999 sacó Run devil run, un disco compuesto, en su mayoría de los grandes clásicos del Rock & Roll de los cincuenta (a excepción de la canción que da nombre al disco, "Try Not to Cry" y What it is"m compuestas por él mismo) y en el que destacan Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins o Buddy Holly entre otros.
Además de hacer un pequeño homenaje a sus cantantes favoritos, también lo hace a los discos de antaño, ya que el arte en el CD es el de un vinilo de entonces y cuenta con las ilutraciones de Klaus Voormann ( asi es, el mismo que hizo la portada del Revolver de los Beatles y de Beatles Anthology).
Run devil Run fue grabado en los estudios de Abbey Road en tan sólo una semana. Según el propio McCartney, a la hora de grabarlo, quería volver a la misma forma de trabajo que cuando empezó su carrera en este mundo. Y así lo hizo. En una semana ya estaba listo.
